I am mildly terrified and so so excited to be headed out to Cambodia this coming week. How I ended up going to this particular country? That's a whirlwind answer to say the least. Short version: God totally just put it on my heart via a long time friend that is a full time missionary in Thailand, a Christian Cambodian missionary I chatted with and through reading about this country's recent horrific encounter with mass genocide. There is a generation of orphans that need hope, need a Father and God is moving to show them that He is those things. I want to be a part of that ministry- even if briefly. What an opportunity this summer to have so much time to devote solely to this purpose while also using my medical training.

If you're reading this it's because you've decided to journey with me through this via prayer support. Thank you SO much guys. You are just as much a part of this ministry as I am by doing that because well, prayer changes things and can accomplish more than I'll ever see and impact more than I'll ever even know. Plus, what an encouragement to go knowing that there is a prayerful community walking right beside me.
Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:32
Prayer Points
1. Travel. As everyone knows I am not a good flyer. I need peace and a calm physical body and mind, smooth air time and overall safety in travel. Also, just logistically that there won't be any hiccups in getting connections, visas etc and then connecting with the team when I get there1
2. Hearts. Lift up hearts to be ready for a harvest. I am eager to jump into whatever God is already doing through this ministry and to just encourage the workers already there.
