I just got back from a lovely trip up north to the Himalayan mountains to stay at an Ashram! It was a BEAUTIFUL trip that pictures cannot fully capture. I met some amazing people and spent some much needed time reflecting on this country, the culture, what I can learn from being here as well as my walk with God.
It was quite refreshing...minus getting sick at the beginning of the week. But thankfully, by the end of the week I managed to ask another person for some good ol' antibiotics to help clear things up. As far as I can tell, they're doing their job!
It was really neat chatting with people about India's culture. I learned things that I think will definitely help me in the next legs of my adventure!

| Hiking trails- can't say I did a lot of hiking though. There were LOTS of leeches that would get into your shoes and bite through your clothes even! I'm not ready for those vampire bugs. |

Those narrow mountain roads (and cows!!)! The drivers here seriously are skilled. They pass cars like it's no one's business and use their horns like it's their own voice. Also, pretty sure hand signals take the place of all turning signals. We shall see if some of their techniques stick when I'm back home! :)
