Bonjour Everyone!

I am very very excited to be writing to everyone who is reading this right now! This is the first post of my travel blog to Montreal!

It has been a very weird road getting to this point because as some of you might know, I actually had no intention of going on project this summer. I was originally planning on getting a full time job, most likely with an employer that I had the chance to work with last summer and loved. Once I began thinking about project, and specifically after P2C at Western had a "Project Promo" night, my heart began to change, although not really in the direction of Montreal. I was actually trying to convince my younger sister to attend montreal project, but in that process it seems God was using my own words to show me that that is where He actually wanted me. During a worship service at church after a week of wrestling with God over where I was supposed to go and if project was actually something He wanted me to do, I feel that God gave me a clear vision of a french street with the words: Go To Montreal strewn across them and 'read' aloud to me. It was a call that was clear and something I couldn't ignore.

So...I applied.

2 months later, I was accepted.

Support raising from then on would be a real new experience for me. It was time for me to put into practice the things that I had been telling fellow students for years: Don't let money be an issue, God will provide.

Boy, o boy, did He ever.

As it stands right now, less than 6 weeks later, I have raised the full support amount for the project, my travel costs and an increment of the intern salary.

Wow.

This blog is meant to continue recording the faithfulness of God in situations that the project team and I encounter in Montreal as well keeping my prayer team informed with prayer requests. Each blog post will end with a prayer request summary so that you guys can be praying very specifically! As you read the prayer requests (below) please take some time to pray after you have read each one, instead of reading them now and praying later. I have a tendency to forget things that people have asked me to pray for unless I am super intentional and so I find that praying right after a request is given is the best way to go! :)

PS. The title of this blog has a font called 'covered by his grace'. I thought it was quite fitting for this adventure :)
Pray as Y'read PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Exam concentration- with the upcoming fun I, and probably other students, need more concentration and focus to finish those last exams (and undergrad!) strong

2. Safety in travels as the interns begin traveling to Montreal for orientation this week and as students will soon for the May 1st start

2. For wisdom, creativity and productivity as the staff and interns begin the planning this week!
